Sida CSO 2022-2026 Programme; goal of contributing to a strong civil society that demands and supports the fulfilment of children’s rights – holding states accountable and mobilizing and empowering children and their communities. Toward this goal, the program will work in four areas 1) civil society strengthening, 2) children’s agency, 3) child rights, and 4) civic space.
Goal 1: Child rights CSOs and networks have strengthened their technical and operational capacities to fulfill their mission of defending child rights in Cambodia.
Goal 2: Girls, boys, and children with diverse SOGIE engage in child-led advocacy and campaigning to influence peers, communities, and decision–makers to promote child rights in Cambodia.
Goal 3: CSOs and networks defend children’s rights by holding the Royal Government of Cambodia accountable for its obligation to provide access to inclusive systems and quality services to children, including those most impacted by inequality and discrimination.
Goal 4: Save the Children and Cambodian civil society’s CSOs join forces to safeguard CSOs, children, and youth civic dialogue at grassroots, sub-national, and national levels.
